Introducing the SEDGWICK TA315

The Sedgwick TA315 is the backbone of any joinery workshop, designed to deliver power, accuracy, reliability, and safety. Operation

The TA315 is built to handle various operations with ease. The aluminium rip fence offers two working positions for standard ripping and angled ripping, along with fore-and-aft movement for enhanced versatility. It is mounted on a sturdy cast iron bracket and features integral micro-adjustment. The fence glides smoothly on a nylon roller and is supported by a 40mm diameter solid steel bar.

Versatility

The cast iron table of the TA315 includes ¾” TEE slots on either side of the saw blade and comes equipped with a 6” Protractor Scale. This design enhances the machine’s versatility, allowing it to perform a wide range of cutting operations with precision and ease.

Construction

The large cast iron table is mounted on a robust steel cabinet, providing stability for the spindle, rise-and-fall, and tilt mechanisms. Powered by an IE2 industrial-rated motor with a twin-belt drive, the spindle maintains stability with large diameter saw flanges. The machine features sealed-for-life bearings, requiring minimal maintenance to ensure longevity. The rise-and-fall and tilt mechanisms are operated by easily accessible handwheels, utilising square thread screws for smooth and precise adjustments.
