Introducing the Imet BS 350 SHI Bandsaw

The Imet BS 350 SHI Bandsaw is a hydraulic semiautomatic machine designed for precision cutting in medium-production environments. Ideal for a wide range of materials, including high-strength ones, this advanced machine ensures high-quality results for both mechanical and carpentry applications, with the ability to make angled cuts up to 45° right and up to 60° left.

  • Automatic Material Detection: Equipped with an automatic device for detecting the cutting material to optimise the cutting process, facilitating the approach to the material during the descent of the bow, and adjusting the end cut and blade ascent.
  • Electric Control Panel: Operations are managed by an adjustable electric control panel, control LEDs, and motor absorption ammeter.
  • Wide Working Surface: Features a wide working surface with a 460 mm diameter rotating table integral with the sawframe to avoid incisions, with rotation on thrust ring and pre-loaded thrust bearing.
  • Alignment of the Blade: Blade guides with hard metal pads and additional bearings ensure the best blade alignment before and during cutting.
  • Hydraulic Vice: The hydraulic vice with adjustable guides moves alongside the worktable, offering quick motion and clamping.
  • Blade Tension: The bimetal blade has high tension (1900kg/cm²) with front adjustment and microswitch control. The blade motor power ranges from 1.5 to 2.2 kW, increasing up to 2.2 kW with speed variator inverter.
